Filing for bankruptcy can save a company, but it’s an onerous and unpredictable process. Bankruptcy costs a lot of money and time. Lawyers are required at every step and management needs to find new financing when the financing is frozen. There’s a chance that the court may not approve the recovery plan or that a third-party management company can take over. Elementary Business has created an alternative to bankruptcy - the “Informal Plan”. We’ve used it over 20 times to save companies in trouble. There’s no court, no trustee, no creditor committees, and far lower legal expenses. The Informal Plan also keeps management in control and focused on operations. No mystery here, success can be achieved on a DIY (Do It Yourself) plan. This audiobook includes information on how to do it, what to say to creditors, and useful hints on how to offset difficult issues. It works! 1. Language: English. Narrator: Pete Ferrand. Volume two of The King Trilogy, The Tainted Trust is, in addition to a moving and action-packed thriller, a brilliant depiction of what perfectly normal people will do for love and money. It is the continuing story of an inconvenient fortune and its catastrophic impact on a loving family. No one wept when Jim Servito died. He left an estate amounting to $325,000,000 when his wife, Karen, killed him in Caracas. He had accumulated the fortune the old fashioned way: He stole it from the U.S. and Canadian governments using a brilliant gasoline tax evasion scam. The money is hot, deposited in a Cayman Island bank, and it's cursed. It has a profound affect on everyone who touched it. It is managed by Alfred Schnieder, an aging and unscrupulous Caracas banker. Mike King, the love of Karen's life, and nearly ruined by the Feds' scorched-earth efforts to recover Servito's fortune, convinces her to keep the money, instead of returning it to its rightful owners. With the assistance of Schnieder, they form The King Trust, a near fatal mistake. Desperate to recover the money, the Feds continue to spare no expense and effort to do so. Phillip, the only child of Karen and Jim Servito, assumes he is the natural heir to his father's fortune, and has his own greedy plans for the money. Aging Alfred Schnieder relinquishes the trust's management to Louis Visconti, a 32-year-old Wall Street whiz kid and brilliant financial engineer. Dubbed "The Crown Prince of Wall Street", and substantially more unscrupulous than Schnieder, Visconti takes The King Trust to bewildering heights, then fails, miserably. Kerri Pyper, Mike King's 23-year-old estranged daughter, has not seen or communicated with her father since she was nine. She discovers the existence of The King Trust and is shocked to learn that her natural father is its Trustee. Visconti, desperate and assuming he is still the smartest man in the room, embezzles the fortune and flees to Monaco. He mad 1. Language: English. Narrator: Mathias Lenssen. Learn about Land Trusts with iMinds Money's insightful fast knowledge series. A land trust is an agreement whereby one party, the trustee, agrees to hold ownership of a piece of real property for the benefit of another party, the beneficiary. Corporations set up land trusts as intermediaries that hold and manage property on behalf of investors in return for management fees. Being a trust, they are legal entities that separate ownership from control with investors being the ‘beneficial owners’ giving them property rights while the legal title is held in the trust’s name. Land trusts are not only designed for investment purposes but can also be created as non-profit organisations for conservation or welfare pursuits.Since growing in use from the early 1990s land trusts have become a popular investment option. This is due to them providing the security of investing in ‘brick and mortar’ whilst offering other additional advantages. Investing in land trusts makes it possible for investors to own small parts of properties if they do not have the finance or do not wish to purchase the property outright. The lower cost of purchasing just a portion of a property can allow investors to diversify into a larger number of properties. This diversification reduces exposure to market fluctuations in particular property markets. Investing in land trusts also allows the investor to separate themselves legally from their property assets. iMinds will hone your financial knowledge with its insightful series looking at topics related to Money, Investment and Finance.. whether an amateur or specialist in the field, iMinds targeted fast knowledge series will whet your mental appetite and broaden your mind. iMinds will hone your financial knowledge with its insightful series looking at topics related to Money, Investment and Finance.. whether an amateur or specialist in the field, iMinds targeted fast knowledge series will whet your mental appetite and broaden your mind.iMinds uni 1. I started out learning artwork all the way back at the Brooklyn Museum Art Classes to prepare for and was accepted to the High School of Art & Design in Manhattan. With below average grades but an extremely good artwork portfolio I was accepted into the Cooper Union Institute for three years Certificate Program. When I was nearing the legal age to drink, I applied and was accepted to the S.U.N.Y. Purchase Conservatory of Visual Art. After graduating with a 2.5 G.P.A. I was hired by the Board of Education to teach Chess and Computer Classes. Around the second year of teaching I was notified that a trustee of our family had enough money set aside to pay out a book contract expense. When I went back to school yet again at New Horizons C.L.C. I certified in Office Programs and for some reason or another was able to solve all of these technical problems with finishing a book publishing job. I handed that over to my dad, Sam whom wrote 7 reprinted books full time for three years. I published my first book under my own first name this year, Peter Sloan Teaches How to Draw Cartoons. I had an agreement with many artists over my ten years of academy of art training if I am to write a book on artwork to follow the tradition of many cartoon artists and publish my first book about how to draw the face. Most of my work is computer technical and books about games, but following with my agreement to write my very first book about cartoon portrait artwork. Enjoy listening. 1. Language: English.
